To the families of the Together in Christ Collaborative
We hope that this email finds you safe and well, and we pray that you are successfully navigating
through these “uncharted waters”. Please know of our prayers for you at this time. We have been
working on a virtual faith formation program that can be done at home as a family. The program called
“Project Nazareth” was created by a team from the Archdiocese of Boston. "Project Nazareth: Faith Begins
at Home" is an initiative that will deliver weekly resources to families with children in pre-school
through 8th grade. These resources will give parents suggestions for how to Pray, Listen, Act, and Ponder
with a given topic throughout the course of each week. Guided by Scripture and the Catechism of the
Catholic Church, different series within Project Nazareth will explore the Gospel message, the Sunday Mass
readings and other special topics such as the Year of the Eucharist.
Each week, beginning Oct 18th, families with children in grades 1-8 will be emailed the materials to be used
for the lesson of the week. At some time during the week (at a mutually agreed upon time), a mentor (chosen
from among our dedicated catechists) will be following up to see how the children are doing and if there are
any questions. There will be addition materials and lessons for the 1st Communion children in the Spring.
The Confirmation students grades 9 & 10 will be meeting at St. Ann’s Parish center on the 1st and 3rd Sunday
and another group on the 2nd & 4th Sunday (we will assign the classes). Grade 9 will meet from 6:00 -7:00 pm
and grade 10 will meet from 7:15-8:15. These lessons, taken from Ascension Press’ “Chosen” Program will be led
by the clergy of the Collaborative. We are exploring “virtual” options for those who wish to participate but
feel called to do so “remotely”.
We have attached links for you to view some webinars about the program so you can see what it is all about.
This program is a way for the whole family to experience faith formation in daily family life.
We need you to follow the link to “sign-up genius” to register for the program. There are 3 options: one is
for a family with children NOT receiving a sacrament this year for the fee of $95. The other options are for
